“Pintando Revoluciones”
This year's theme "Pintando Revoluciones" is a homage to the artivistas of our communities. We understand the significance of art, music, film, photography, and other creative media in our communities' struggles for liberation. Our creativity holds sacred and revolutionary knowledge, traditions, and counternarratives. It continues to be a foundational part of community-building that has strengthened, inspired, and driven cultural political movements.
During a time when Black, Indigenous, POC, queer, and trans communities are under attack by fascist forces, it is crucial for us to inspire youth and community members to fight against censorship of our stories.
